Hypermiling Manual Guide – Learn About Your Options

Yesterday I talked about what is hypermiling. This is a subject that is quickly gaining popularity as more and more people realize they can seriously cut their gas prices! As this topic arises from obscurity, I’ve seen some hypermiling manuals out there that can give you all the necessary info right now.

The technique called “hypermiling” is certainly nothing new. Back in the 1930’s, my dad did several things to help with his gasoline costs. For example, he put two carbs on an old Chevrolet … one for gasoline, another for kerosene. When the car started, he switched to kerosene for normal driving. And that was when gas was just pennies per gallon and kerosene even less. As a nation, we have been spoiled by extravagance! Who needs giant SUV’s?
